Just a quick post to show off this adorable bunny I made last night.
Made from a vintage burlap sack.
Graphics show on ears and one side of the bunny's body.
The other side is solid brown burlap.
Rag stuffed (burlap remnants).
Stick legs.
Old quilt cotton quilt batting used for tail and details around legs.
Hand stitched eyes and whiskers.
Bunny measures approx. 12" long by 9" tall, from the top of ears down.
*Adapted from a Sweetpeas Primitives pattern from Mercantile Gatherings magazine.
I have him listed in My Etsy Shop.

Your burlap creations remind me of my younger days living on a farm traveling around New England showing sheep. I love all your burlap creations, some day I need to try creating with burlap. Thanks for inspirng me
Very cute! love the bunny and LOVE the dolls!
Hi, Tam - what a sweet bunny. I love the wool batting tufts on his legs and tail!
Oh my word! He may have to come to my house! Burlap is one of those childhood smells for me because my grandparents owned a nursery where I spent alot of time and Grandpa used burlap to ball the trees from the fields for the sales yard.
