How To Make Paper Christmas Ornies ~ S0 Easy and Fun!

Hello Everyone.

I have been working on some ornies lately.

Some of them I can’t show off right now because they are for an upcoming swap.

But I did want to share something Easy you might like to make for yourself.

Look how cute!!

These are made of paper (both sides.)

Sewn, stuffed, and then a wire hanger added to back side.

Okay, I'm not the best on giving instructions, but I’ll try.   :)

First you will need is some printer paper and some tea.  (or anything to age the paper with)

I simply wet down a large tea bag and rubbed it on to one side of the paper.

Got out my hair dryer, and flipped the paper back and forth until dry.

Then I went through my photos folder and found some with Christmas themes.

I changed all of mine to black and white, but you could leave them colored if you wanted to.

After I turned it to B&W.

*Feel free to copy Santa graphics and use for your ornies.

I printed it on to my dried, tea stained, paper.

Cut them out.

I then backed it with another piece of the stained paper.

Using my sewing machine to sew around the edges.

*No turning, sew with design side up.

Leaving a small section across the bottom to push a little stuffing inside.

*Use small amounts and go slowly so you don't tear the paper.

Once I had it a little puffy, I stuck the bottom back into the sewing machine and closed it up.

Lastly, I took a little wire, formed a hook, and with a little hot glue attached it to the back.

And that’s it!

Easy, wonderful Christmas decorations.

And you can use any design or size you wish.

And there you have it,  nearly Free Primitive Christmas ornies!
